Ryoichi Minakawa was born on December 7, 1961 in Inawashiro, Fukushima. On November 06, 1984, Ryoichi joined the Unification Church in Japan. His spiritual father is Mr. Yoshiyuki Kudo, a 6,000 Couples Blessing participant.
On August 25, 1992 Ryoichi was blessed to Atsuko in the 30,000 Couples Blessing held in Seoul. Ryoichi came to the United States for missionary work on November 5, 1992.
His wife, Atsuko passed away 8 years ago. He his survived by his three children: his son, Ikumi; daughter, Nami; and daughter, Yoshimi.
