What is the Blessing?
The Blessing is an unprecedented initiative by Father and Mother Moon, who are working beyond races and religions to unite all people into God’s family.
The tradition began in 1960 with their own marriage. Based on their lifelong commitment to a world of empowered families, the Marriage Blessing has become a worldwide tradition where couples dedicate their marriage to a greater purpose and God. In response to the breakdown of traditional marriage, the Marriage Blessing offers a path to build a world of stronger marriages and healthier families.

How to Receive the Marriage Blessing
If you’re single
Start by becoming a matching candidate through completing the education and application. You can read more details about the candidate process on our ‘Matching’ page OR join MatchNet and get a step by step guided experience!
If you’re matched
Create an account to report your matching ceremony. Even if there’s no Blessing announced, it helps to get a head start with the application!
You can choose between a free user or MatchNet account. MatchNet offers support through the remaining steps to receive the Blessing. It also gives you access couples education series to prepare for life as a couple!
If you’re married
First step is to learn about the 5 Steps of the Blessing from the Holy Wine to the 3 day ceremony. Please connect with your local community leader about when to participate in the Blessing Ceremony. After you’ve attended the Blessing you can register here.
