Testimony by Rosie Muyongo

Antonio “Tony” Mazziotta was born on January 17, 1954, of Italian descent. After coming to America, he became a volunteer member of the International One World Crusade (IOWC) team. In July 1982, he received the Blessing of Marriage as part of the 2,075 couples. He transitioned to the spirit world on July 4th 2026. He is survived by his wife and their five children.

I first met Tony in 1999 while he was selling flowers at a restaurant in downtown Seattle. I was new to America and to flower fundraising, and I remember him stopping to offer me encouragement. After that, I regularly saw him at the Seattle Family Church on Sundays, sometimes by himself and at other times with his children when they were young.

Over the years, our interactions were mostly brief greetings until I became his pastor in 2020. I then had the opportunity to visit him twice at his home and learn more about his life. He would often call me just to check in, asking, “You still live in Sultan? I drive that way sometimes.”

Tony faced many challenges, including kidney problems that required regular dialysis. Yet, even with his failing health, he continued to show up at church. Even when he no longer had a car and had to take the bus, he still made the effort to come.

When I remember Tony, I see a man who deeply desired connection with others, especially with his family. He possessed a longing heart that sought to love and be loved.

Rest in Peace and have a victorious transition to the heavenly spirit world, Tony, in the love of Heavenly Parent, True Parents, and Jesus.
