What is the Blessing? (Part 1)

For those who are not familiar with the Blessing (written with uppercase “B”), the Blessing is the grace that a man and a woman receive in order to establish a marital union that substantially connects them to God’s lineage. This is only possible on the foundation established by the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind.
The True Parents, also affectionately known as Father Moon and Mother Moon, are the ones who have discovered the secret of how to fulfill the ideal of Heaven, how to reclaim the Earth for God, and how to restore human beings, Humankind, into God’s children.
The Blessing is not only for engaged couples; married couples can also have their marriage substantially connected to God’s lineage on the foundation established by the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind. Married couples do so by rededicating their marriage through the Blessing. This means that a marriage blessed through the Blessing becomes a Blessed Marriage.
So, what does that say about the Blessing?
The Blessing is THE gateway to Heaven. More than that, it is the pathway to the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a pathway that leads out of the sovereignty of Satan into the bosom of God. It is a journey and a lineage-transforming experience. You might even say that it is the King’s Highway to the Kingdom of Heaven. As such, it takes work, dedication, and adherence to rules and regulations in order to successfully go through it.
The Blessing can also be said to be the grace and process through which we can resemble God, the Creator. It is the foundation upon which we can realize the purpose of our existence as envisioned by God. As such, it is very precious and priceless.
It is no news that Satan doesn't want humankind to return to God's bosom. This explains why he constantly and systemically accuses and strives to corrupt human beings any chance he gets. This is why, when it comes to the Blessing, setting the required conditions the right way is paramount not only in order to receive the full array of God's blessing over one's marriage, but also in order to weaken any claim that Satan will undoubtedly attempt to make against you.
The Blessing is supposed to break Satan's inherent hold on anyone who receives it. However, the extent of the impact of the Blessing depends also on the collaboration of those who receive it. After understanding this, doesn't it make sense to fulfill the required conditions the right way? Do we think Satan will just sit idle and not do anything to prevent us from returning to God's bosom? How many of us would want Satan to lay a claim on our Blessed Marriage?
Satan considers it his responsibility to accuse human beings in the hope of eternally separating them from God and His ideal. Today, through the Blessing, we have a rare opportunity to not only believe in God, but to also be His love partners. This is something that Adam and Eve were supposed to do and be but couldn't because Satan misled and corrupted them.
The Blessing is the grace through which, with dedication and commitment, humankind will transform into God’s lineage.
The Blessing is here to stay. Through it, the True Parents have established the eternal foundation upon which humankind can return to God's bosom. They have also opened wide the gateway of the pathway to the Kingdom of Heaven.
May we all work together to substantiate God’s Kingdom.
