Juan Morales was born on May 27, 1949 in Copala, Guerrero, a southwestern region in Mexico. When he was living in New York, Rev. Morales had a job as an actor and had a pretty good life as a young man.

When he was young, his grandfather told him in a dream to meet with True Parents. Having never heard of the term "True Parents” before, Rev. Morales started searching in scriptures, reading the bible countless times and asking scholars for help but with no success. Rev. Morales eventually made an altar in his room, where he offered all his possessions and asked God for guidance. Still, nothing happened. One day while walking in Manhattan, he was approached by a young woman and was invited to a seminar. During the seminar, he was astonished to hear the term “True Parents” that he had been looking for. He was overjoyed knowing his prayers were heard, and he left his past behind and joined the Unification movement.

Rev. Morales worked as a full-time missionary in New York and many other cities. During the last few years of his life, he dedicated himself to taking care of Camp Mozumdar, teaching the Divine Principle, and actively outreaching in Crestline, California. His strong faith in God and True Parents, his love and compassion for all people as his own brothers and sisters, and his burning desire for delivering God’s word touched many people’s lives.

Rev. Juan Morales passed away on February 3, 2023 at 9:18 AM in Camp Mozumdar.
