Ran was born and raised primarily in Hawaii. She mentioned that her dream was to study Oriental Medicine and help people through herbal remedies. In her childhood she was always bright and smiling. She was a hard-working student and did well in her studies and found joy in playing sports and especially in drawing. She graduated high school in 2013 and was able to enter Sun Moon University in 2014. She also spent a year at the University of Hawaii. Even while facing the difficulties of her mental health, Ran always tried to live life as fully as she could. She carried out so many dreams, shared her love generously with others, and gave her family quiet strength and encouragement simply by striving every day to live a wonderful life.
