Let Us Protect the Blessing
Contributed by Christian Nseka, BFM Assistant Director
The Blessing is a marriage ceremony officiated according to the standard set by the True Parents—Father and Mother Moon. It does not stop with the matrimonial ceremony, but, among other things, it also encompasses the lifestyle that those who have participated in the aforementioned marriage ceremony lead.
The Blessing is the salvation that people need; not the other way around. It improves people's connection to God; not the other way around. People do not improve the connection of the Blessing to God. Hence, we need to transform people for the Blessing; not transform the Blessing for people.
Molding people for the Blessing is the straight road to a God-centered eternal life; adapting the Blessing to fit people is a roundabout road that will lead to more indemnity conditions. Does this mean that the conditions that people make to receive the Blessing cannot change ever?
The conditions that people make to receive the Blessing or after having received the Blessing have slightly changed and will more than likely continue to change throughout history. However, it is beneficial for God if these changes take place due to the progress of the providence rather than due to the desires of some people.
Jesus was crucified because his contemporaries endeavored to adapt God and His will to fit their needs and predicaments; not them allowing themselves to be transformed for God and His will through the love, teachings, and achievements of Jesus Christ.
Likewise, the Returning Lord was rejected upon his appearance because the prepared elites of his time endeavored to adapt God and His will to fit their needs and predicaments; not them allowing themselves to be transformed for God and His will through the love, teachings, and achievements of the Returning Lord.
Today, with Jesus and Father Moon working together in the spiritual realm and the Holy Spirit and Mother Moon working together in the physical realm, let us not rob God of this opportunity to once and for all eradicate evil through the change of the blood lineage. This, and the establishment of God’s Kingdom, will happen only through the Blessing.
The Blessing is the answer. Let us protect its integrity and strengthen its foundation.
The Blessing is a cure that works best when administered as prescribed.
