Our beloved sister, Pastor Brenda Joyce Quarells, wife of Rev. Meldon Quarells from Missouri ascended at 6:00 PM August 10, 2021 after her battle with COVID and a kidney condition.

Rev. and Pastor Quarells have always been active and supportive in the American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) movement. The couple was part of the faithful 172 ministers in 2011 and became a Blessed Central Family in 2018 after completing the steps of the Marriage Blessing. Recently they have helped the development of the Midwest ACLC's Weekly Online Clergy Seminar as an Officiating Couple for the Marriage Blessing.

Brenda was born on Christmas Eve of 1955 in Wilson, North Carolina. The family relocation during her childhood, placing her in Jacksonville, Florida, where she eventually met the love of her life and soulmate, Meldon Quarells. The best friends were married before friends and family in 1977. Brenda and Meldon enjoyed 44 years of matrimony throughout their lives. Brenda is blessed with the birth of six children: Merenda, Melissa, Melaina, Meldon Jr, Miriam, and Matthew, and with seven wonderful grandchildren: Marcus, Mariah, Stevie, Michael, Malachi, Blake, and Brayden.

Her caring and motherly nature allowed for many people to call her Mom, and be blessed with many spiritual children. She is an amazing woman, who gave a legacy of strength, grace, and beauty. Her touch and impact on the lives of countless people, who will forever carry her in their hearts. She will be obsessively missed.
